’62-’74 MOPAR A and B-body cars are more popular now than ever! Hot rodders are still clamoring for them in any condition. Unfortunately, one thing that seems to be a given replacement item on these classics are exhaust parts because of the oem parts propensity for rust formation.
But, like a wise person once said, “never waste an opportunity to upgrade.” So, leave it to Flowmaster to answer that call. The world-famous exhaust brand has announced new product offerings for those beloved MOPARs. You can read the official press release from Flowmaster below.
“These Flowmaster pre-bent tailpipes fit the popular 1962 to 1974 Dodge/Plymouth A and B-Body cars. The tailpipes are 2.5-inch, 16-gauge aluminized steel and mandrel bent to allow better flow of the exhaust pulses as they exit the system. These tailpipes are designed to work with offset inlet/offset outlet mufflers and exit straight out the rear, just under the bumper. These tailpipes are a great way to add a factory-like fitment tailpipe to a custom exhaust. Backed by Flowmaster’s three-year limited warranty.”
There are unique features users can expect from a set of Flowmaster exhaust pipes for their A and B-body MOPARs. For starters, the mandrel-bent 2.5-inch aluminized tubing creates increased performance by improving the overall exhaust flow. Furthermore, the dual-exit exhaust juts out from the body just after the rear bumper and is designed for dual-outlet mufflers. Of course, this is all backed by Flowmaster’s three-year limited warranty.
