At some point, we all needed to put our pride-and-joy race car or hot rod on a trailer. Whether it was because of a long-distance trip or a breakage, securely strapping a car down to a trailer is usually in all our futures. Thanks to Mac’s Tie-Down Solutions, the job just got easier.
When securing a car or truck to any trailer, finding a location on the underside of the vehicle in which to attach a tie-down strap can sometimes be an exercise in futility. You need to be mindful of objects that can cut the strap, and with many aftermarket suspensions, just finding a spot where the strap will fit can be an issue.
Mac’s is excited to introduce a new bracket to its family of weld-on tie-down products. The Mac’s Flat-Back Bracket creates a permanent anchor point and is ideal for flat, metal surfaces like a chassis frame arm or crossmember.
Using Mac’s Flat-Back Bracket is a great alternative to a conventional axle strap, eliminating contact with critical components such as brake lines, wires, and hoses. The Flat-Back Bracket is made from .250-inch thick steel cut on a tube laser and tumbled for a smooth finish. The low-lying design is built to accept the Mac’s Twisted Snap Hook. These brackets are sold individually or as a pair.
