Securing hardware to haul high-horsepower track cars takes serious logistics. Looking to expand their mobile operations, Radford Racing School recently gained a new sponsor agreement with Adrian, a heavy-duty equipment manufacturer. At first glance, bringing an industrial cargo specialist into the high-speed paddock might seem unusual, but moving race cars safely requires specialized gear.

To kick off the collaboration, the upfitting company handed over the keys to a custom-built enclosed hauler. During Roadkill Nights powered by Dodge, the rig made its public debut right on Woodward Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan. Following that initial launch, designers immediately started drawing blueprints for a second trailer dedicated entirely to handling event ticketing and merchandising.

Since Bob Westfall founded the business back in 1953, the upfitter spent decades mastering commercial vehicle cargo management. When discussing how an industrial brand fits into motorsports culture, the Radford Racing School new sponsor dynamic highlights a shared focus on mechanical preparation.

Sundstrom notes, “Adrian is a really exciting addition to the Radford Racing School family. Their partnership demonstrates that you don’t need to be an auto performance brand to have a meaningful place in the racing world.”

Beyond supplying race haulers, the manufacturer recently poured massive funding into their own facilities. With a $43.4 million investment announced in May, plant managers added dedicated square footage for metal cutting, forming, welding, and painting operations.

Recognizing the parallel values between building tough gear and pushing cars to the limit, Hill states, “We serve people who keep America moving forward every day, just like Radford trains drivers to perform at their highest levels on the track. We believe this is a real opportunity to bring those worlds together and demonstrate that our two brands share a commitment to helping people work smarter and perform better.”

Without reliable transport gear, running a nationwide driving program causes massive headaches for the crew. With the heavy equipment side handled by this Radford Racing School new sponsor, instructors can focus entirely on teaching students how to hit the apex. Next time fans walk through the paddock, they will definitely spot those custom haulers.
