Ben Johnson’s ’55 Chevy Delray was a victim of the California wildfires, but that was not the end of its journey. It has been resurrected and will debut in its new form at the 2026 SEMA Show on Tuesday, November 3, in the TMI Products booth Automotive Designer Chip Foose, in partnership with automotive designer Coulson Aviation, rebuilt the Tri-Five and it promises to be even greater than before.

This build marks the culmination of many hours of hard work from the Coulson Aviation and Autosport Team as well as Chip Foose. Working alongside Johnson throughout the build, Foose developed a design that honors the spirit of the original car while incorporating select components recovered from the burned vehicle.

“I’m incredibly proud to partner with Coulson Aviation and be a part of the RISE Program,” Foose said. “Giving back has always been part of my DNA, and the Coulson family has given Foose Design the opportunity to play a small role in something that can make a very big difference. It’s an amazing program, and I’m honored to be part of it.”

The completed Delray will showcase the complete Foose Design interior by TMI products with premium Apex Leather skillfully installed by the team at Coulson Autosports. The build serves as both a tribute to the vehicle’s history and a symbol of resilience for wildfire survivors across Southern California.

Numerous companies stepped up to bring this Delrey to life: Foose Design, Coulson Autosports, Summit Racing, Kicker, Quick Performance, CPP, Blue Print Engines, TMI Products, Apex Leather, BFGoodrich Tires, MagnaFlow, Dynamat, and Redline Gauges. The unveiling at the TMI Products booth (24477) will be at 11:30 a.m.
