Edelbrock announced the release of its Pro-Flo 4 system, the latest in its line of electronic fuel injection systems, during the 2018 SEMA Show held in Las Vegas, October 30-November 3. The new system gives users total control over cold starts and acceleration while remaining easy to use.
Both fuel and spark can be controlled from the E-Tuner 4 app, available on the Google Play store or pre-installed on a 7-inch Android tablet included with the system. The app gives the user complete control of the system and the ability to fine-tune air/fuel ratios, ignition curve, idle speed, acceleration fuel, coolant fans, and the rev-limiter among other things.
The user is able to monitor the engine vitals and performance in real-time with the app due to the upgraded Bluetooth chip that maintains a more reliable connection than older Pro-Flo systems.
Once installed, the app walks the user through an easy-to-use setup guide with base calibrations that have been developed on the Edelbrock in-house dyno.
Other upgrades to the Pro-Flo system include a new water-resistant ECU with a faster processor that allows the system to self-learn and continually adjust the calibration to get maximum performance out of the engine.
Each kit comes complete and can be installed in a driveway. Pro-Flo 4 EFI is available for Chevrolet, Ford, Chrysler, and Pontiac applications with several configurations. The new Edelbrock Pro-Flo 4 kit has a starting price of $1,695.
