Good news for those GM 1973-1977 A-Body and GM S Series pickup owners because QA1 has just added upper and lower control arms for these particular vehicles to their line up.
Official Release:
QA1 has expanded its line of upper and lower control arms to include both 1973-1977 GM A-Body vehicles and GM S Series pickups.
QA1 GM control arms are available in both street and race configurations. The street arms use a factory replacement ball joint and polyurethane pivot bushings and work great on vehicles used primarily for cruising and long distance events. The race arms utilize a low friction QA1 Ball Joint and low friction, low deflection UHMW polyethylene pivot bushings, providing the added performance needed for drag racing, pro-touring and hard core street applications.
Both the upper and lower control arms work with stock or dropped spindles and feature tubular construction and a durable black powder coated design. The upper arms feature an offset cross shaft, letting you quickly and easily adjust camber. The upper and lower arms are designed to add 3 to 4 degrees of caster and 0.5 to 1 degree of negative camber when used together to get the most out of modern performance tires.
These control arms are designed to work with QA1 front Pro Coil Systems. A bolt-in spring adapter is also available to allow the control arms to be used with stock springs.
Popular 1973-1977 GM A-Body vehicles include Chevelles, Monte Carlos, Cutlasses and Regals. GM S Series pickups include 1982-2004 S10s, 1982-1990 GMC S15s and 1991-2004 GMC Sonomas. QA1’s control arms are manufactured in its Lakeville, Minnesota facility.
