Car enthusiasts can enjoy a weekend of drift demonstrations along with music, food, and camping at the track during Gridlife South, held August 24-26 at Road Atlanta.
Gridlife has become known as an event for average enthusiasts with stock performance cars to drive next to pro drivers with professional built cars. Drivers can participate in Time Attack competition or road-course Bracket Racing during the event while the Time Attack segments get broken up with different displays of professional drifting. At the end of each day the “Aftergrid” outdoor stage comes to life with music.
The last event, Gridlife Midwest, held at Gingerman Raceway in Grand Haven, Michigan, featured Vaughn Gittin, Jr., in the Monster Energy RTR Spec 5-FD Mustang, in addition to Justin Pawlak in the Falken Tire S197 Mustang.
