Let’s be real: American muscle cars are aggressive, and in your face with distinctly American styling, but they have evolved. Its no longer just about going forward in a straight line, they are more potent than ever and have been competing in a “track special” class alongside the M series.
Despite retro styling cues that showcase this evolution, purists will tell you carbon fiber doesn’t belong on a muscle car, but this 2018 Chevrolet Camaro SS makes a convincing case for otherwise.

Clad in the latest carbon fiber aero kit created by Anderson Composites, this Hyper Blue Camaro SS performs as good as it looks. It features a carbon fiber hood, chin spoiler, rocker panels, front and rear fenders, rear spoiler, and a rear valance. These components enhance the Camaro’s aggressive styling while saving some weight and adding downforce.
The Camaro comes powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine and features modifications like an Injen intake, Corsa exhaust system, SCT Livewire tuner kit, and a Hurst shift kit.

Stopping power comes from a Wilwood Aerolight six-piston brakes up front and four-piston brakes in the rear, 15-inch rotors are on all four corners.
The massive brakes are slightly obscured by a set of CCW CV M10 wheels sized 19×10 and 19×12 in the front and rear, respectively. The Gunmetal Matte finish wheels come wrapped in Continental ExtremeDW tires.
Adding to the Camaros aggressive stance, along with stability and cornering performance, is a set of JRI shocks, Detroit Speed coilovers and a set of Eibach springs.
Inside, the Camaro is fitted with RPM 6pt roll bars, as well as the Sparco Pro 2000 seats and racing belts.
