The 2026 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction proved to be a paradise for Mopar enthusiasts earlier this month. Leading the charge was a rare Dodge Viper ACR Snakeskin Green Edition that perfectly represented the end of an era for American supercars. This specific car was chassis No. 22 of only 31 ever built to commemorate the final year of Viper production. With just 812 actual miles on the odometer, a lucky buyer bought it for $566,500.

The docket for the event was packed with serious heavy hitters beyond just one snake. Alongside the headline attraction, bidders saw a 2016 Viper ACR in Billet Silver with the Extreme Aero Package and a pair of 2008 Hurst 50th Anniversary Vipers selling as a set. But the Dodge Viper ACR Snakeskin Green Edition was not the only star of the show. The auction also featured incredible classic muscle, like a well-restored 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda convertible. This Lemon Twist stunner was one of only 17 produced with a 440 Six-Barrel engine and a four-speed manual transmission. It sold for $308,000.

Modern performance fans had plenty to look at, too. A one-of-one “Carbon Daytona” built from a Hellcat Redeye turned heads with its carbon-fiber bodywork. For those who loved raw power, a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 sold right after a 2018 Demon. These two cars were ordered with matching VIN endings to create a perfect pair of drag strip monsters. The 2023 model boasted over 1,000 horsepower and had only nine miles on the clock. It sold for $145,200.
The event brought together the best of the past and present. From the Hemi-powered legends of the 1970s to the modern carbon-fiber customs, the variety was staggering. However, all eyes remained fixed on the Dodge Viper ACR Snakeskin Green Edition when it rolled onto the stage. It stood as a loud and fast reminder of what Dodge did best.
