IMG_1588American Shifter Company of the Hoffman Group showcased their latest in custom shift knob products – their online laser engraving shop. On this online generator the options are virtually limitless.

Customers start by choosing a blank knob, these range from traditional billiard balls, translucent metal flake knobs, to rectangular stick knobs. From there, customers can add custom text or upload graphics catering to a company, car club, and individual needs.IMG_1598

As noted on their website, engraving is limited to 1.1-inches in diameter, 2 lines of text and 1 color for shift knobs. Check out the shift knob engraving page here for a look at some awesome options at a great price!

If you’re looking for something a little more unique American Shifter also showcased its line of limited hand carved knobs. This is the stuff of Kustom Kulture glory right here, from the out of this world to just plain badass these knobs are released in very limited quantities of around 1,500.IMG_1593

They also welcome custom orders so if you have an idea give them a call and they’ll most likely have a skilled craftsman on site that can get you that Boba Fett helmet or Rat Fink bust fab’d up in no time.

IMG_1584This was definitely one of Rod Authority’s favorite stops at the show, its great to see that amongst four halls of aftermarket performance products the nostalgia and accessory culture of the classic car is still alive and well.

What’s an updated suspension system and chassis when you can’t top it off with metal flaked door knobs or that shrunken head to assist your drop shift? Get to the website and see what they’ve got!IMG_1583
