Santa might appreciate this next Christmas wish, especially when it comes to hauling important cargo from place to place. Everyone has started their quest for a classic car with a borrowed or rented trailer at some point.

Most of us start off with an open car hauler, such as a Carson or home built variety, but as your investment increases the need for added protection grows. Upon the completion of a killer paint job, it becomes important to protect your ride from the road grime, gravel trucks, the weather, or any number of destructive things.

At this point we begin to contemplate purchasing an enclosed trailer. There are basic box trailers all the way up to stackers that fit the needs of every hot rod owner. However, if Santa were to grant the new diesel pickup wish it might fitting to have a brand new box trailer to haul around a hot rod. The added protection is worth its weight in gold; most of the time you can get a discount for combining trailer insurance along with your collector car policy.

So, if Santa were to grant this wish, he would actually be saving us money every month. Those savings could result extra cookies and milk for the man in the red suit next Christmas. In closing, these Christmas wishes might sound extravagant, but it never hurts to dream big. Most importantly, remember the friends that you have made through classic cars and cherish these friendships throughout the next car show season!
