Tattoos and piercings are the norm now days, and thus tattooed pin up girls have been all the rage. Not to say there is anything wrong with tattoos, but I would like to make a request for my editor.
This kind soul wishes for a tattoo free pinup girl with red hair for Christmas. I am sure that he just looking for photoshoot talent and not just a sketchy creeper way of checking out hot strawberry blondes or red heads. Trust me this would make everyone’s life a little easier, if we could find a crimson haired beauty to feature with an equally beautiful car.
In the heyday of pinup art, these iconic images served as inspiration for “our boys” in World War II. These drawing featured classy and sassy portrayals of beautiful women, which eventually became intertwined with all things retro in the modern era. At the Moon Eyes Christmas Party, the car show and racing event, also features a huge pinup model contest.

Hot rod gals dressed in retro clothes and with period correct hairstyles strut their stuff in hopes of winning the contest. Many of these modern models take inspiration from the hair and makeup of the bygone era, but the tattoos are not line with old school art form.
Again, this is not meant to be a tattoo trash talk session, this is just a Christmas wish from our editor. Perhaps Santa Claus could just drop a Gil Elvgren or Enoch Bolles print down the chimney and we can avoid the entire creepy old guy conversation.
