When the holiday season rolls around there tends to be an increase in crime, usually it is just the scrooges following around delivery trucks and stealing packages from your porch. That original seat frame that your loving spouse tracked down on eBay is taken from your front steps and is eventually tossed in the trash because thieves have no clue what to do with it.
These scrooges have little on the mind other than money and consequently ruining Christmas for others. Much like those little scrooges, car thieves have little or no respect for the hard work of others. This leads to our next Christmas wish, if Santa could drop off a collector car policy and possibly a security system, we would sleep much better at night.
Countless hours and countless dollars have been spent on your collector car, but basic auto insurance often fails to properly cover hot rods and classics. This is why a collector car policy is an effective tool for making things closer to right again, if a scrooge or Grinch happens to abscond with your car.
If you can insure a racecar, then getting stated value insurance on your roadster would not be a problem. Peace of mind is a great Christmas wish and can easily be purchased through a number of agencies, just in case a certain man in a red suit does not deliver. You can never recover all of your time, but proper coverage and your memories will help to ease the pain.
