2012 HRIA Business of the Year Awarded to Classic Instruments

During the 2012 Hot Rod Industry Alliance banquet, which occurs each year during the week long SEMA event, Classic Instruments was awarded the HRIA Business of the year award. The award was given to Classic for providing exceptional service, business ethics and integrity throughout the past year.

The company has received numerous awards over the years for it’s advancements in instrument technology. Some of these awards have included an Outstanding Contribution award at the 2012 Street Rod Nationals, Best Electrical component at the 2012 GoodGuys event in Columbus for the Nostalgia VT gauges and New Product of the Year for Sky Drive at Hot Rod and Restoration.

It is no doubt that their work both in creating new products and in solid community work in the hot rod industry has contributed to this award. Classic also has taken part in numerous builds to benefit charity and they’ve also been an outspoken voice for increasing youth involvement in our hobby. Driving the hobby forward is something that always separates the top companies from those that just get mentioned in passing.

During the event Classic also received three additional global media awards. For the Nostalgia VT series gauges they received two awards, one from the UK and one from Switzerland. They also received an award from Russian media for the Esquire series gauges.

Classic Instruments have participated in numerous charitable foundation builds like this one for the Ironmen Foundation.

After talking with Classic Instruments they stated that a driving force behind the company’s success has been contributing to and having pride in the hot rod industry throughout the years. The company also stated that they are very humbled to be receiving this award.

With innovations and new products coming out on a regular basis, it’s no wonder that Classic Instruments received such honors from the industry they serve. This driving force in the Hot Rod industry is likely to be making news for years to come.

Following on the heels of a very good 2011, 2012 seems to have been a great year for Classic Instruments. We’re excited to see what the coming year holds for them and our hobby as well. Congratulations to the entire staff at Classic Instruments from all of us here at Rod Authority and Power Automedia, this honor is well deserved.
