Ever since the 1930s, Mopar has been offering specialty Chrysler products as well as a select number of specialty cars to performance enthusiasts in the automotive market. I mean, who can forget the epic Mopar-emblazoned Chargers and Challengers of the early 1970s? Well, that tradition never died! Continuing on into the modern muscle car era, Mopar has been a large part of the Chrysler Group’s latest performance offerings, including the limited-edition 2014 Mopar Challenger that Chrysler is reporting sold out in mere minutes upon becoming available to dealers.
For the last month or so, we’ve been seeing Chrysler’s limited-production vehicles figuratively fly off the shelves. Joining that craze is the 2014 Mopar Challenger, which was officially up for dealer order for just one day before the entire allotment was sold out.
The rarest limited-production Dodge Challenger ever offered in history with just 100 models offered, the ’14 Mopar Challenger is certainly worth the hype.
Offered in both Pitch Black or Bright White, the limited-run Challenger features the beloved Satin Black Shaker hood, brought back especially for 2014, 20×8-inch Gloss Black wheels with Mopar center caps, a Black Vapor grille surround, three striping options, a Satin Black deck lid spoiler, and black fuel-filler door, along with Mopar badging and quarter-glass decals.
Though already customized as limited-run cars, the 2014 Mopar Challengers offered many additional features for purchasers to choose from, including a cat-back exhaust, hood pin kit, Mopar short-throw shifter, premium floor mats and even a special Mopar car cover.
Though all 100 ’14 Mopar Challengers are spoken for, customers looking to have their own version of the model can select from a variety of the same options through Mopar’s catolog and have their Challenger delivered right to the dealership with their hand-picked performance and style options. See your local Dodge dealer or Chrysler Group’s website for ordering details!
