Every now and again, someone builds a car that can literally stop you in your tracks. We found one such classic while perusing the Dakota Digital website. The car in question is an unbelievably cool ’66 Nova that was put together by the crew at Kindig-it Designs.

In stock form, the diminutive shoebox didn’t handle very well, so a new chassis was in order. New, very-much-larger sneakers found their way under the Nova, and a set of Wilwood brakes bring it to a halt.

Inside, the red leather covers almost everything – except for what’s painted. While seated, the driver enjoys crystal-clear engine monitoring via HDX-66C-NOV instrument system from Dakota Digital. The HDX series is pretty wild in that you can change the lighting color to match your paint, or mood for that matter. More than 30 colors are available for the user to mix and match to their heart’s content. HDX also boasts a large TFT message center for high-tech data displays to keep the driver informed.
