Keeping our eyes peeled for sweet rides, we found yet another custom that is red and ruthless. Posted on Craigslist, we like what’s going on with this custom 1948 Ford Deluxe Coupe, which has been tastefully reimagined into a classy, luxury hot rod.

All steel and all business, this Ford Deluxe Coupe is the product of extreme attention to detail and dedication to the car itself. Located in Queen Creek, Arizona, this Ford Deluxe has all the makings of an award winning masterpiece.

What went through a complete frame-off restoration, this Ford Deluxe Coupe had its entire body underside coated with a single stage candy apple red bed liner to properly guard it from the natural elements. Also, the frame, rear end, and suspension components were powder coated in black to give the rod a clean appearance.

A four wheel disc brake kit is in place to provide plenty of stopping power for the custom Ford. Under the hood is a small-block Chevy 350 cubic-inch roller engine with high compression, a four barrel Edelbrock carburetor, and a rebuilt 350 turbo automatic transmission.

As for the rear, the custom has a Ford 9-inch rear end with 8.5:1 gearing. What’s more, the rear fenders were widened three inches to accommodate a meaty, wider wheel setup.

The exhaust is ceramic coated and the custom features powered side mirrors, seats, windows, doors, and trunk. Inside of the Ford Deluxe Coupe, everything was sandblasted and redone with new sheet metal, which includes the flooring, firewall, engine compartment, and running boards.

The leather seats and door panels add a nice touch to the immaculate Ford. Even the Ford stitching into the headrests give the Ford Coupe a touch of sporty aesthetics. The dash and center console are also custom, giving the inside a taste of modern design.

To top it off, the headlights and taillights are frenched, giving the rod a smooth look that complements the curves of the Ford Deluxe Coupe. What are your thoughts of this custom?
