Every year at the annual SEMA show, we get to see some of the coolest builds from all over the country. Mike and Jim Ring, known to many as simply Ringbrothers, have been breaking the mold every year with new items that many of us would love to have for our own cars.
Of course, many of those items are components that make up the whole car, and that would require a bit of work, let alone a small fortune, to add to our own project. But it’s the subtle little touches that we like the most, and for a few years we’ve seen some of these smaller components come from Ringbrothers.
Some of the coolest components we’ve seen are the hood and trunk hinges. Made from billet aluminum, they’re strong enough for a steel lid, but gentle enough for a fiberglass lid. Another component that we’ve used recently is the Tremec shift lever that was introduced a couple years ago.
In keeping with a similar design, Ringbrothers have come out with another cool component for GM and aftermarket steering columns that just might make it to your wish list. The billet steering column levers will make your column stand out, and replace the boring, stock levers.
The levers are made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and include all the hardware to attach them to your column in mere minutes. They’re available in a natural aluminum finish or black anodized, to match or contrast your column. You can find these cool levers at the Ringbrothers website, and through authorized retailers.
