Spotted on Barn Finds, we stumbled across this vintage automobile that could use a hand or two. Behold, a 1957 Ford Thunderbird that is in restorable shape for someone with passion and dedication to the craft of rodding.

Whether an individual wants to continue with this project or simply use it for parts, this Thunderbird has some potential. Sure the body and frame show signs of rust, but a fabricator can remedy all of these imperfections.

The parts may not be on the car, but the owner has a majority of the pieces needed to bring this beauty back together. With some metal work already completed on the vehicle, this car deserves to be finished in its entirety.

It looks like the engine under the hood is the 292 cubic-inch 4.8 liter Y-block V8, which actually stems from a 1955 Thunderbird. The fenders are in good shape and the body is as straight as an arrow.

Again, with so much potential, this car has all the right things to become an absolute beauty. The interior may be aged and rusted, but one could possibly fabricate a new interior or replace out with another dash.

What clearly looks to have sat outside for quite some time, the natural elements have taken a toll on this convertible. However, in the right hands and the necessary funds, this Thunderbird is not quite ready to tap out to the wrecking yard.

If this became your project, what would be your first order of business? Would you make this into a hot rod or restore it back to its original specifications? Let us know in the comments below.
