Wandering about the web, we stumbled across a barn find that’s been years in the making. Posted on Craigslist, check out this rare 1948 Kaiser Frazer that looks to have some project potential.
Complete with a clean title, everything on this vehicle is intact. However, with its clean title comes a car that needs work on all ends. The body is clearly full of rust, but surprisingly the interior is still in good shape, which was redone in red. The car still has its original straight six flat head motor and its three-on-the-tree shifter that is not seen on cars nowadays.
Sure the car may need some work, but with a dedicated set of hands, this car can become a real beauty down the road. With plenty of room in the engine bay, this project could possibly call for a 350 small block or something a bit more beefy than what it came with off the assembly line.
Selling for a steal at $1,400 this rare find can be yours if you’re willing to take the bait. No one said this is going to be an easy project, but isn’t that the fun in all of this?
If you’re looking a project car that is sure to get noticed when all is said and done, look no further. But if your wallet is a little short on ends, I’d steer away as this has the potential to become an expensive restoration project.
