While rummaging through a barn near the lost sea in rural Tennessee, J made an amazing discovery. He discovered that the barn contained four classic Mopars. These cars include a Plum Crazy V Code Six Pack Super Bee, and sitting beside it is a 1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible. While not pictured J also spotted a rare Cuda Gran Coupe and a gold 1969 Dodge Charger Shell.
As wild as some of the early Mopar colors were, one of the favorites was any musclecar in Plum Crazy. The V-Code Six Pack refers to the three 2 Barrel Carburetors on the 440 RB. These extra carburetors give the 440 engine 390 horsepower, which helped make this set up legendary throughout the musclecar world.
The Cuda Gran Coupe was an upgraded luxury package for the Cuda. It included nicer exterior trim, a leather interior, power windows and a Gran Coupe badge on the exterior. The Gran Coupe was available with every motor from the little Slant Six to the mighty 440.
Sadly the owner isn’t currently interested in selling any of these cars. While J may not have gotten a chance to take home any of these treasures, he at least he had the pleasure of seeing some rare Mopars in the flesh. At the very least, these cars are inside and out of the weather… much better than some other cool Mopars we’ve seen sitting around.
