Barrett-Jackson Launches Online-Only Auction For May 2020

Barrett-Jackson has been known to curate some of the world’s greatest collector car auctions around. Now, for the first time ever, they are bringing the experience to audiences worldwide with their premiere online-only auction. The auction will begin on May 8, 2020, and will feature about 75 premium hand-selected collector vehicles, as well as more than 250 pieces of premium authentic automobilia.

This online-only May 2020 auction will be hosted on the leading online auction platform, Proxibid. This gives bidders and sellers secure online transactions and infrastructure. Barrett-Jackson’s auction will connect sellers with pre-screened bidders.

Bidders will be vetted using bank-level risk mitigation tools. Consignors will also have the advantages that come with being associated with the Barrett-Jackson international brand. They are offered visibility on the extensive marketing and advertising platforms along with exposure to the company’s extensive database of car collectors from around the world.

A major vehicle to be on the lookout for during this particular auction is the red ’69 Boss 429 Mustang pictured below. The ridiculously cool Mustang is lot #241. You can read all about it, here.

Not only will this Online Only auction feature a docket of carefully picked collector vehicles, but it will feature automobilia consisting of more than 250 items of genuine, authentic automotive Americana pieces. The majority of these will be sold with no reserve. One of the pieces for sale is from the Nicodemus Collection and is a 14 foot long Road Runner Service Stations porcelain with neon service station marquee sign. Another item is an iconic 1950s Mobil Oil Pegasus porcelain sign with animated neon.
