Big Moves for Baumann Electronic Controls’ US Shift

The past couple of years has been wild, to say the least. What started out as extreme uncertainty for most companies, eventually turned into a booming market. The automotive industry saw drastic ups and downs – from the industry’s largest trade show, SEMA, being canceled, to not long after, auto manufacturers were unable to import cars to the United States fast enough.

Baumann Electronic Controls, the parent company of more commonly known US Shift, is one of many companies that took this opportunity to grow their business into something even better than before. Over the course of the past year, they’ve been working on building brand new, modernized facilities for their upstate South Carolina headquarters.

Recently, they’ve been moving operations into these larger, more efficient buildings. “This will allow us to handle larger quantities of orders and get them out the door quicker,” said Jake of Baumann Electronic Controls. “These new facilities have everything our engineers and developers need – more space, and more equipment for product development.”

With roughly a 50% increase in size at their production facility, and a ~25-30% larger testing and development facility, Baumann is looking forward to placing focus on product development moving forward in the coming months.

“We’re excited to be returning to SEMA this year after a couple year hiatus. We are excited about the launch of two new products – a remote display option, and the 10-speed Ford Automatic Transmission controller. Those should be coming out by the first of the year.”

If you’re visiting the SEMA show this year, be sure to check out Baumann Electronic Controls/US Shift in Central Hall, Booth #24857. In the meantime, visit www.usshift.com.
