AutoRacing1.com has reported that Linda Vaughn recently suffered from a heart attack.
Drag racers know Linda as Miss Hurst Golden Shifter, and she is also recognized as the “First Lady of Motorsports” — it has been reported that she is recovering from a recent heart attack. The report from AutoRacing1.com also notes that “She recently lost her boyfriend due to heart problems and we hear she has been under a lot of stress.”
Going back to the mid-1960s, Linda Vaughn has been an icon in motorsports. She has represented popular motorsports brands like Hurst Shifters, Pure Oil, Gratiot Auto Supply, and is a prized ambassador of racing.
Vaughn has never stopped appearing at trade shows, racing events, and car shows across the world for almost five decades. Her smile and welcoming personality can befriend any racer or spectator.
We all wish her well and a very “speedy” recovery.
