Oh those silly Australians. We’re loving the influx of videos coming in from our friends Down Under (as well as our Nordic pals in Northern Europe who also love them some muscle cars). The funny thing is how the Australians love boiling tires nearly as much as they love driving their cars, and yet, drifting isn’t nearly as big there as you might think. Oh well.
Anyways, we had to laugh at this short video of yet another Aussie burnout contest gone horribly wrong as this Australian-built Ford Falcon XB Coupe (made famous by Mel Gibson in Mad Max) shows the audience its internals when its driver revs the guts right out of the Ford’s transmission. These Fords are stout machines, don’t get us wrong, but there’s only so much abuse a car can take, and well, this Falcon showed just how much it could take.
