Ever been stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic when it suddenly – an inexplicably – opens up? Ever wonder what the hell caused that gridlock? Well, we think we finally found the answer. While on our way to the 2011 MPMC, we spotted this fully-outfitted, completely correct DMC-12 Time Machine replica of the “Back to The Future” series.
Much more than just a rolling movie prop, this DeLorean – driven by Xtreme Green distributor Paul Nigh – is participating in the annual Fireball Run Adventurally. The 3,500-mile road rally invites dozens of teams to participate in the largest concentrated “active recovery effort” for missing and abducted children – an awareness campaign in support of the Race to Recover America’s Missing Children Foundation.
Each team represents a missing child from their home region. Their mission is to distribute 1,000 posters over the 18 city, 3,500-mile road trip to aid in the recovery of their representative child. Annually, Fireball Run distributes nearly 75,000 posters which have aided in the recovery of 35 missing children.
Propelling this DeLorean isn’t 1.21 gigawatts of plutonium-powered electricity, but all of Xtreme Green’s eco-friendly products. Claiming over 50-times the film strength of conventional lubricants, Xtreme Green’s XLT technology features a strong ionic charge allowing it to bond to metal under extreme heat and pressure.
