The 2012 Chrysler 300S just oozes luxury so when you pair its already stylish design with the influence of designer John Varvatos, you know you’re going to have one sharp looking vehicle. As we found out from Top Speed, Chrysler recently created such a car and it was auctioned off for the John Varvatos 9th Annual Stuart House Benefit. With one-of-a-kind styling and special features, the Chrysler definitely came though in helping the foundation raise its largest sum of money in nine years.
The custom Chrysler 300S was designed with the help of Varvatos and inspired by his clothing collection. With the standard 292-horsepower 3.6L Pentastar V6 under the hood matted to an eight-speed automatic transmission, the car’s focus was on one-of-a-kind styling and custom features.
In addition to the custom 20-inch satin Carbon wheels, the Chrysler featured black woven leather details on the seats and door panels, woven Heather fabric components with a luxury menswear appeal, satin chrome interior detailing, leather wrapped console lid, armrests and instrument panel, and a two-tone black steering wheel. The car was finished off in elegant black paint to complete the its posh presence.
The John Varvatos Stuart House Benefit was held Sunday March 11th in Los Angeles, California with auctions for the event extending until March 20th on CharityBuzz.com. Proceeds from the event went to the Stuart House, an organization that specializes in helping sexually abused children.
Although an ending bid on the special edition Chrysler 300S has not been released yet, the running bid on March 15 was $48,546. In total, $700,000 was raised for the organization, making the 9th Annual Stuart House Benefit the most successful in the nine years that Varvatos has thrown the event.
