As another week settles in for the long haul, Classic Instruments is celebrating yet another successful National Street Rod Association Appreciation Day. Over the weekend, Classic Instruments once again hosted the premiere event benefiting the Boyne City, Michigan Police Department. Congratulations goes out to Classic and the crew on another job well done in the community.
This year, the NSRA Appreciation Day hosted by Classic Instruments was held on Saturday August 10th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Great Lakes Motor Works facility in Boyne City.
At the event, participants were welcomed to participate in NSRA safety inspections, a raffle from a generous number of industry vendors, an impromptu car show, and a picnic lunch. There was also an awards ceremony where a number of individuals received trophies and plaques for their accomplishments in the NSRA.
Referred to as the “best NSRA Appreciation Day to date” on Classic Instrument’s Facebook page, we can’t help but to think about the wonderful time that participants had. And judging by the cars that showed up, who wouldn’t?
Just like in years past, all the proceeds for this year’s event went to benefit the Boyne City Police Department. Money raised at the event will go towards the purchase of a specially outfitted bicycle for police patrol and the training of an officer for the position.
Be sure to see what else Classic Instruments has been up to in our exclusive Rod Authority interview and behind the scenes with Classic’s very own John McLeod and stay tuned for more updates right here on RA!
