The website for researching and purchasing classic automobiles, ClassicCars.com, has announced the launch of “Collecting Cars, Collecting Memories,” a chance for folks to participate in a Father’s Day celebration by sharing personal memories and photos of dads with their kids and their mutual love of automobiles.
Participant’s stories and photos are to be featured in The Journal, the breaking news portion of the ClassicCars.com website. The editors of The Journal will chose one person to be the recipient of a Father’s Day gift basket. The contents of the basket will include a variety of products for ClassicCars.com’s Father’s Day Gift Guide, to be released on June 4. All stories and photos must be submitted by June 1 to be eligible for posting in The Journal.
Whether their dad served as an unofficial driving instructor, a tire-change expert or as an advisor during their first car purchase, ClassicCars.com realizes that everyone has a story to tell.
“Every car has a story,” asserts Roger Falcione, president and CEO of ClassicCars.com. “One of the best things about working with classic cars is hearing people tell those stories. People who collect and are interested in classic cars always have great stories and we wanted to hear those stories and share them with other enthusiasts in celebration of Father’s Day.”
So whether your dad was a mechanic, driving instructor or just your partner in speed, here’s your chance to celebrate his day in a manner he’ll enjoy.
