The COMP Cams Engine Builder Duel will finish its 2015 campaign by testing the Midwest’s best engine builders in Springfield, Missouri.
The Engine Builder Duel is one of the most popular and prestigious competitions at major automotive events throughout the country. This September it will visit the Fall Street Machine Nationals for the very first time, with three competitions scheduled throughout the weekend at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.
During each competition, a pair of two-person teams goes head-to-head to determine which one can assemble and fire a Small Block Chevy in the shortest amount of time. Engines are required to run for 30 seconds. The quickest builders each will win $250 COMP Cams product certificates, while the runners up will receive $125 COMP certificates. The first contest will be held on Saturday, September 26, at 11:00 a.m., with another taking place that afternoon at 3:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 27, the final Duel of 2015 is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. To register, email enginebuilderduel@gmail.com.
