Chevrolet is hoping a new Corvette color from alien planet will help sales rebound in 2026.

It moved an insane number of Corvettes in the 2023 model year, 53,785. It is hoping a new model and two new hues will help them surpass that level. The most interesting new Corvette color is Roswell Green Metallic, which looks positively otherworldly.
It is named after the town in New Mexico that was the sight of an alleged crash of an alien spacecraft in 1947. It is pretty wild and were we in the market for a new Corvette, we’d have to put this high on our list of color options.
The other new choice is far less interesting, but will probably be more popular. It is Blade Silver Metallic, which is sure to get lost in the sea of 47 other silvers being offered in the industry.

Both are seen here on the 2026 Corvette ZR1, the quickest and fastest production Corvette ever (top speed is said to be 233). Note the new backlight, which features a split-window design, the first since 1963.
Would you use a new Corvette color for your project? Would it be Roswell Green or Blade Silver?
