Commemorating the 25th anniversary of September 11, collectors packed the building to support military families and first responders through Folds of Honor and the UFC Foundation. Instead of offering typical single-vehicle lots, auction officials paired two distinct eras of high-performance pickup history into one massive charity package.
The unique lot combined a one-of-a-kind ’05 Dodge Ram SRT10 with the first retail production 2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT. Carrying an 8.3-liter Viper V10 that puts out more than 500 horsepower, the regular-cab ’05 machine previously claimed world speed records before receiving custom yellow graphics mimicking classic styling.
Beside that 10-cylinder heavyweight sat the 2027 prototype, carrying VIN 001 and pairing active four-corner air suspension with a supercharged Direct Connection HEMI V8. To sweeten the pot, Ram gave the winning bidder total factory clearance to choose their own personal exterior paint color on the production line.
UFC chief executive Dana White climbed up to challenge bidders to open their wallets for service members. White states, “Well, first of all, anybody who’s here and bidding on these trucks, you know, when you’re able to do something like this, you do it because you can and you do it because you should.”
Heated bidding drove offers past the million-dollar threshold within moments. Jumping straight into the live action himself, White fired off competing bids against fellow collectors until the hammer fell at $1.5 million. Securing the Ram & RealTruck custom trucks alongside an unlimited UFC walk-in VIP pass, the promoter walked away with the ultimate prize. White states, “Yeah. Well, that was my first car auction that escalated quickly.”
Every single dollar from the $1.5 million hammer price goes directly toward educational scholarships and local community outreach programs. Rather than parking the machines inside a desert showroom, White plans to ship both pickups straight to his residence in Maine.
