Detroit Speed’s New Fast-Ratio Steering Rack For 4th-Gen F-Bodies

When it’s time to take your fourth-gen F-body to the race track or level up your street game, getting your steering dialed in hustles you around corners faster and ensures that your car accurately responds to tiller input. Let’s face it, the last fourth-gen F-bodies rolled off the assembly line twenty years ago and most have seen hard use. Detroit Speed Engineering comes to the rescue with its new OEM-like rack-and-pinion steering for the 1998-2002 Camaro and Firebird. The world-famous company is well known for its expert engineering and state-of-the-art R&D department.
This DSE factory-style fast-ratio power steering rack-and-pinion fits 1998-2002 Camaro/Firebird. “Detroit Tuned” valving is employed for a performance feel for street or racing applications. Quick ratio gearing with 2-1/4 turns lock-to-lock.
The rack is built with all new components and undergoes a rigorous quality check and performance testing before shipment. For you early fourth-gen owners, DSE has you covered as well.
