Does A 1955 Ford 100 And Billet Specialties’ Wheels Work Together?

Photos from Billet Specialties’ Facebook Fanpage

Our friends at Billet Specialties turned us on to a great truck that showed up at their distributor, Speed Unlimited Performance, one of the east coast’s leading speed shops since 1967. The Morningside, Maryland company stocks a full line of Billet Specialties products, including the Comp Series wheel line.

Speed Unlimited Performance’s customer John Lee stopped by the retail speed shop with his 1955 Ford F100 pickup truck. Our first look at the truck brought to mind Dolly Parton’s famous quote, “It takes a lot of time and money to look this cheap, honey.” Mrs. Parton is well known for her spunky nature and good looks, which add a little humor to her words. The same can be said of Mr. Lee’s truck. It took a lot of time, work, elbow grease, and money, to look this “experienced.”

Recognized for spending a ton of time to get his truck to look this unique, Lee has also spared no expense where it really counts. In addition to the Billet Specialties Comp Series wheels, he has outfitted with Competition Engineering’s roll bar, Moroso Performance Products’ rear ladder bar, and an MSD Performance Products ignition system. We enjoy the patina look, especially on a truck like this. Can you say: “sleeper?”

Pay no attention to the nitrous bottle. Can you spot the F-Bomb?
