eBay Find of the Day: ’69 1/2 Dodge Super Bee A12 440 Six-Pack

We’ve never claimed to be financial advice experts, and C-Span bores us to tears, but if we ran the show we might tell the Fed to start investing the country into rare Mopar muscle cars. We found this legit ’69 Super Bee 440 Six-Pack 4-Speed car over on eBay, and it had just sold for $86,000.

While that may be out of the price range of the normal guy, it’s still a testament to what people value! What’s interesting about that statement is that while this was born as a 440 Six-Pack car, it’s no longer equipped with it’s original engine, but instead a date coded replacement. That’s right folks, a non-numbers matching (but rare) Mopar will fetch nearly $90K!

This is a great example of a car that was restore to factory like perfection, and will likely never see a lot of road time again as a result. It went through a full rotisserie restoration recently, complete with new Butterscotch paint with overspray in all of the right places. Per the listing, each and every option on the car is either the original piece or was a replacement of the original, and even the jack is wearing a factory part number!

The eBay listing included a full breakdown of the fender tag, and we’ll include it here as well:
