If you spend any amount of time near hot rods, motorcycles, or just in the garage wrenching, you’ve probably seen the words Edelbrock, Performer, or Victor Jr. Well, something as classic, timeless, and tried and true as the name Edelbrock deserves imagery and style to go along with it.

Enter Chris Eidem, Edelbrock’s Apparel Manager Dude, and Edelbrock’s new line of clothing and accessories. Chris comes from a skateboarding and surfing background fused with a love and passion for hot rods. He happens to own a very radical ’70 Dodge Charger, and bad ass Dodge RamVan. So, it comes as no surprise that he would take some classic styling cues from the Edelbrock history books, mix it with some edgy So Cal skate flavor, and apply it all to their new line of clothing.

Drawing inspiration from such timeless names and parts as Edelbrock’s Tarantula and Performer intakes, Chris and Edelbrock’s design team have created a very signature and classic look. Incorporating those names, and even recreating vintage designs, and articles of clothing has us feeling extremely nostalgic – we’re sure that’s what they were after.

We asked Chris where he drew his inspiration for the new line, and he told us “First thing that comes to my mind is, I just want to make cool stuff for cool people.” A simply put statement that conveys a big message – they’ve been making cool stuff from the start, and they’re not going anywhere.
