One of the highlights of the show season has been seeing who would be the recipient of the 2025 TMI Products Road Tour series winner at select events around the country. StreetMuscleMag.com has been bringing you the results and now we have the winner of the fourth such award: Scott Cerrata’s ultra sleek 1970 Chevrolet El Camino.

Scott Cerrata’s 1970 Chevrolet El Camino was chosen the fourth TMI Products Road Tour winner.
The TRIM TMI Products Road Tour is a multi-stop competition that spotlights the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation, leading up to the TMI Products TRIM Awards at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The most recent TMI Road Tour winner was selected by TMI judges Jason Mulligan and Marcel Venable at TMI’s Cars and Clearance event in Corona, California, on August 23rd. The car featured a complete TMI interior, including a pair of Pro Sport Low Back seats, using the “AR” insert pattern in black, and covered in OE-style blue metallic vinyl.
Matching the seats were a pair of modified TMI molded door panels, originally intended for a Chevelle application.
The highlight of Cerreta’s build was the excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, according to TMI, which could be spotted throughout the interior. A one-off headliner, matching the TMI AR pattern perfectly, was commissioned and an aftermarket center console melds a modern interface and the classic upper dash into a functional and aesthetically pleasing package. Folding the front seats forward revealed the heart of the car-shaking custom audio system.
Modern Classic
Everyone loves an El Camino. The body was stripped of its factory badges and slathered in the contemporary Toyota Cement paint. All of the trim has been finished in satin black. LED lighting with Diode Dynamics Switchback Halos contribute to the modern flair.
To bring handling into the 21st century, the chassis uses a Savitske Classic and Customs Touring Package, with one-inch lowering springs and perfectly sized 17-inch American Classic Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 rubber.
A fuel-injected 420 horsepower BluePrint Engines 350 Gen II engine breathes through a 2.5-inch exhaust and is mated to a TCI Street Fighter TH400 transmission with a Gear Vendors under/overdrive unit. The Chevy 10-bolt houses Yukon axles and a Yukon Posi with 3.73 gearing.
The Triple Crown of Rodding in Nashville, Tennessee (September 5-6, 2025) is the final stop for the 2025 TRIM TMI Products Road Tour, so it’s not too late to bring your vehicle out for a final chance at taking home some hardware and maybe even win a trip to the SEMA Show in November. Prospective participants are asked to enter their vehicles online where they will be added to the judging roster.
