Texas Motor Speedway will once again be hosting a massive spectacle for all to see. October 3-5, 2014, Goodguys Rod and Custom Association will be bringing out more than 2,500 American vintage, muscle, and street cars and trucks for the 22nd annual Lone Star Nationals. This year the event will be loaded to the valves with must see hot rods and entertainment.
Cars and trucks through to 1972 are welcome and cars and trucks of all ages are eligible for entry on All American Sunday. Goodguys will, of course, be hosting their Autocross races. Pitting hot rod against hot rod, separating the show queens from the movers and shakers. The weekend will have most of their normal Goodguys events; Swapmeet, AutoTrader Classics Cars 4 Sale Corral, Model and Pedal Car Show. But there’sa main attraction that you won’t find anywhere else–you’ll need to check out the Team Texas NASCAR Stock Car Rides. The Team Texas High Performance Driving School is specifically designed to, “satisfy anyone’s desire to experience the thrill of high performance driving.” Additionally, registration to enter your vehicle gets you a cruise ticket to take it out on the track at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Several special awards will be handed out to amazing cars over the weekend. Goodguys/LMC Truck Parts & Accessories Truck of the Year Late Finalist, Goodguys/Grundy Worldwide Insurance Muscle Machine of the Year Finalist, and the PPG Dream Car award are just a few.
