Short notice, we know.
But, starting tonight, Mesquite Gaming, parent company of many popular resorts in the area, and the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, are packing the streets of Mesquite, Nevada with badass rides.
If you don’t have plans for the weekend, well, now you do.
It is expected that over 600 classics, customs, and vintage hots rods will cover the city throughout the entire weekend, and on through to the 23rd.
In addition to the city’s existing entertainment, the few days of the Super Run Classic Car Show are packed full with awesome car-related events in which attendees can get up close and personal with the show cars – including daily shows, multiple cruises, engine sound contests, slow drags, burnout competitions, and more.
Show and shines will take place daily at the famous CasaBlanca resort and Oasis parking lots, while open header cruises will begin at the corner of Mesquite Boulevard and Pulsipher Lane on Friday and Saturday at noon sharp. And, this year only, many National Hot Rod Association racers from the past will attend to show off their nostalgic drag cars on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Throughout the weekend, the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association will be handing out over 260 awards and $15,000 in cash prizes to those with the best of the best rides.
The Super Run Classic Car Show is completely free for spectators and is open to the public. For a complete schedule of events and more information, check out the website HERE.
