Winter weather got you down? Well, why not fight back by attending Factory Five’s annual winter open house, fondly known as Moochfest? It may not be warm and sunny up in New England during the winter season, but Factory Five doesn’t care and wants to invite you to this fantastic event. You’re braving the cold anyway, so why not do it in great company, to see awesome cars and keep track of all that’s going on in the Factory Five community during this chilly season?

Moochfest started back in 2003 and continues on into 2013 as Factory Five’s official winter open house. Like in years past, the event will offer participants a look at the company’s cars and facility, as well as offer tasty munchies and good company. Adding to the appeal of the 2013 event, Factory Five will have Director of R&D for the company, Jim Schenck, at the event to give a presentation on the latest addition to Factory Five’s full car offerings, other known as Project 818. But that’s not the best part.

Held at Factory Five’s Wareham, Massachusetts headquarters, the fun of Moochfest is topped off with drivers braving the elements by bringing their Factory Fives to the event no matter how chilly it is outside. Those that brave the weather in their Factory Five cars not only get bragging rights, they can also win prizes dedicated to their great sportsmanship for bringing their cars to participate in the event.

Moochfest will take place this year at Factory Five Racing on Saturday February 9th from 9a.m. until noon. No registration is necessary to attend, so get your Factory Five spiffed up and mark your calendar for one heck of a winter event!
