New year, new items, new events: it’s all coming together for Classic Instruments, the Boyne City, Michigan-based company that specializes in instrumentation that takes rides to the next level. With venues like the Grand National Roadster Show (GNRS) and Autorama on the horizon, Classic Instruments is taking the opportunity to meet you and your fellow enthusiasts face-to-face.
The GNRS event, set to take place January 23-25 at the Fairplex in Pomona, California, has roots dating back as far as 1949. A dozen lucky rides are selected to compete for the America’s Most Beautiful Roadster (AMBR) award, and you can bet that the nominees will be as incredible as ever.
Classic Instruments’ John McLeod was able to speak with us about the excitement surrounding GNRS, and what he’s really looking forward to for 2015. “The GNRS is the ‘Granddaddy of them all’ it is one of my favorite shows of the year as it launches in to a new year of Hot Rodding and it is a Real Hot Rod show,” he said. “The AMBR award is given and everyone in the industry is there. I get to catch up with all my friends and see some amazing vehicles, and that is really what our industry is all about.”
In March, thousands will descend upon the Motor City for one of the biggest shows of the year: Autorama. Classic Instruments will be out in force to showcase new products, as well as offer a unique opportunity to learn more about the new Zeus Speedometer Technology (ZST), an innovation that’s 36 years in the making. Self-diagnosis, push-button calibration, high-tech signal processing power, and more are all found in one unit.
“We will also open the door and show them the world of Retro-Fit and Custom one-off instruments,” said McLeod. “We’ll demonstrate how easy and possible we can make it for them to create their own design.”
So bust out your Sharpies and calendars and mark the dates for these two events, and follow up with more news and developments by visiting Classic Instruments on its website and Facebook page.
