Holley, the industry leader in aftermarket fuel systems for over 100 years, is proud to announce the release of its revamped “Classic Carburetor” lineup.
Starting with their 0-1848-2, which retains its roots from Holley’s original #1848 465 cfm unit, but adds all of the modern features you’ve come to expect from its Street Warrior models, these new carbs are designed to combine the best of both worlds.
The new aluminum main body and fuel bowls will serve to reduce weight and provide better heat dissipation, which is a necessity when running today’s ethanol-blended fuels. The obsolete hot-air choke and fuel bowl vent have been ditched to bring this carb in line with 21st-century tech.
The single fuel inlet and preset electric choke make installation a no-nonsense, easy affair. The vacuum secondaries allow for usage on a broad spectrum of vehicles, compensating for various weights and gearing.
The 1848-2 continues with Holley’s classic Gold Dichromate finish, known for its outstanding corrosion inhibition and guarantee of great aesthetics for years to come. The 1848-2 is intended for use with small V8’s or six-cylinder engines as well as 2×4 street tunnel-ram style setups.
Holley continues to be at the forefront of fuel system technologies. Holley carburetors powered every Monster Energy NASCAR Cup team and nearly every NHRA Pro-Stock champion for over four decades. Now, Holley electronic fuel injection products power these cars to domination of the performance world.
Holley products are widespread across the GM LS engine scene as well. The company’s wide range of products also includes high-performance fuel pumps, water pumps, throttle bodies, superchargers, intake manifolds, and dress-up parts for an enormous variety of street, race, and marine applications.
Holley prides itself in utilizing the latest technology in a lean environment to provide the highest quality parts at the best value to the customer.
