The engineers at Holley sure are staying busy. This time they have been hard at work expanding the ever-popular Terminator X line, allowing it more compatibility with even more applications. While their new Stealth 4150 models resemble a Holley XP carburetor these have four 100lb/hr injectors hidden inside the throttle body. Their external ECU can be fully programmed with four inputs and four outputs. They also have the ability to handle a single stage of nitrous or integrated boost control. Even better, Terminator X MAX systems have been announced for both Gen III Hemi drive-by-wire and Ford Modular 2V/4V platforms!
Terminator X/ X MAX Stealth 4150 Models
As stated above, Holley’s Terminator X Stealth 4150 EFI system features four 100lb/hr fuel injectors. These injectors are capable of supporting well up to 650hp naturally aspirated or 600hp on forced induction. The ECU of the Terminator X is capable of fuel map self-learning and ignition timing. It can also improve idle stability, drivability, and wide-open throttle horsepower. The list doesn’t end there! The Stealth 4150 includes transmission kick down provisions for GM TH350/400, 200R4/700R4 and Ford C4/C6 applications; while the Terminator X Max Stealth 4150 provides transmission control for Pre-2009 GM 4L60E/4L80E Transmissions.
Terminator X Max- Gen III HEMI (Drive-By-Wire)
For all you Chrysler fans out there- Holley didn’t forget you. They have released Terminator X and X Max kits for Chrysler GEN III HEMI engines form 2003-2013+. These include the 5.7L, 6.1L, and 6.4L engines with the factory drive-by-wire throttle body. To get you up and moving quickly these come loaded with base maps for common HEMI engine combinations. Also, you can’t beat the 3.5″ handheld touch screen LCD that contains an “anyone can use” calibration wizard; plus tuning and gauge display functions. These plug and play systems also come with free EFI tuning software.
Terminator X Max- Ford Modular 2V/4V with Tranny Control
Next up is the Terminator X Max kits for Modular Ford Engines as well as the 1998 and newer Ford 4R70Wor 4R75W transmission. These kits plug and play with either the 2V or 4V modular motors that are found in 1996-2004 Mustangs, 1995-2006 F150, or 2002-2005 Explorers. They also work with both 4.6 or 5.4L power plants. Just like the GEN III HEMI setups these also come with a touch screen handheld system and the Holley EFI easy to use software suite.
