Craigslist is one of those sites where you don’t know what you can find. Like eBay, you can sell just about anything on the site at little or no cost to the consumer. As such, this has become a mecca for people looking to unload all of their junk, and some of us have actually become addicted to it.
While we were on one of our daily adventures scouring for automotive relics, we found this ’82 Buick Regal. The provided information is brief, but the seller claims it’s packing a heavily modified, and professionally-built Chevy LS-6 big block with a 13.5:1 compression ratio, and “new everything.”
The seller continues by saying the mill only has 200 miles on it and has never been raced. The Regal reportedly has been an ongoing project for five years, and only needs a few fine details to complete and make perfect. The seller has all of the documents showing how much money he has invested in the project. So how much does all of this cost? Well for $15,000 or trade for a “nice ’69 Camaro” and you can park this creation in your driveway.
Is it too much or just right? You be the judge. But at least it has been turned into a pro-street car, rather than a donk or a fake Grand National. We much prefer this kind of treatment than to see a four inch lift kit on a Buick with 32’s.
