What do you get with a squatty right-hand drive Ford F100 Bronco and a 200 hit shot of nitrous? You get an incredibly bizarre and wonderfully awesome wheelstanding machine that defies gravity and all logic.
Even better is the fact that this Bronco can run the quarter mile in the 9-second bracket, a feat which many a classic muscle car owner has never personally experienced. This particular run appears to have been a run for posterity as the Bronco was running alone.
We’ve watched this video at least a dozen times by now, and each time it brings a bigger grin to the face. To begin with, the video starts out with a burnout warmup that in itself is cool enough to be video worthy. The fact that this little bread truck is able to yank the nose off of the ground and spark the rear bumper with the flair of Herbie the Love Bug is almost icing on the cake!
We’d love to know what the motivation behind building this Bronco was originally. We’ll admit that we did quite a bit of research over on the owner’s YouTube channel, and if you have a few hours of time to kill we highly recommend it!
