ididit, LLC introduces its new Universal Series Right-Hand Drive Collapsible Column with Shifter for the Australian and UK Markets. The fully collapsible systems feature an indexable lower shift lever for ease of installation and 8-position tilt for driving comfort.
The RHD columns are available in 28-, 30-, 33- and 35-inch configurations to fit a variety of GM, Ford and Chrysler models with 3- and 4-speed automatic transmissions. The columns accept 1969-’94 GM steering wheels and adaptors, and a standard 3-7/8-inch wiring plug works with nearly all aftermarket wiring kits.
“The Universal Series RHD Collapsible Column is the safest, easiest way to update the steering on right-hand drive vehicles,” said Marty Waterstraut of ididit. “We’re excited to provide a complete system solution for our Australian and European customers.”
