If NASCAR drivers crash during a practice session for the Daytona 500, is it a “practice crash”?
Regardless of what you call it, this multi-car crash is very real. And like most crashes at Daytona, this one starts out as a little bit of race car pinball. Matt Kenseth bumps Joey Logano, who hits Trevor Bayne, who spins Paul Menard, who T-bones Parker Kligerman, and it just goes on from there.
Kligerman definitely got the worst of the deal. His car actually rides up on top of the Safer Barrier before flipping over and sliding several hundred feet on its roof. Thankfully, everyone is OK, but we know of a few crews that will be burning the midnight oil making repairs or trying to get their backup rides ready.
