Get ready for some serious auction action in Scottsdale this October, because a Jeff Hayes-built 1963 Corvette split-window is heading to the block. The silver restomod, packing modern horsepower in one of the most iconic automotive designs ever, is leading the charge for the Barrett-Jackson Fall Auction. And like every other car at the event, it will sell with no reserve.
Taking place October 15–18 at WestWorld of Scottsdale, Arizona, the auction is guaranteed to be a battleground for top-tier collectibles. The Hayes Corvette alone is enough to draw a crowd, sitting on a custom chassis with a 500-horsepower LS3 Hot Cam V8 under the hood. It’s a complete build, finished with a striking red leather interior and modern Z06 wheels. For the purists, a second 1963 split-window will also be available, this one still wearing its factory Riverside Red paint.
As CEO Craig Jackson said, the auction is all about variety. The docket for the Barrett-Jackson Fall Auction backs that up, offering something for every corner of the hobby. Modern muscle fans will be watching a 2025 Shelby Super Snake with a monstrous 830-horsepower engine and just 13 miles on it. Movie buffs can bid on an officially licensed 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor Tribute Edition, while custom truck enthusiasts have their eyes on a 525-horsepower K5 Blazer and a Candy Apple Red C10 pickup.
“This is an exciting time to be a collector car enthusiast,” said Barrett-Jackson’s President, Steve Davis, who noted the quality of cars coming to the event. With every vehicle guaranteed to find a new owner, the gavel drops will be the real story. For four days, the Barrett-Jackson Fall Auction won’t just be a showcase of incredible machines; it will be a live measure of the collector car market.
