Built for drag racing yet stronger than OE for street applications, JEGS die-stamped SFI Flexplates use chromoly steel to exceed OE specifications. The ring gear is double welded to prevent separation from the flexplate in high-RPM engines. Each Flexplate is finished with zinc dichromate to prevent degradation & undergoes a final plate inspection to guarantee complete customer satisfaction.
