Depending on your musical tastes, the rock band KISS is either the greatest musical act of our time or a goofy glorified bar band tarted up in Kabuki makeup. KISS frontman Paul Stanley is another love or hate relationship for many rock fans as well.

Whether you like him or not, the recording of his concert banter between songs that took the internet by storm has to be heard to be believed. For this author, it’s so cringe-worthy that I can’t listen to KISS anymore without thinking of his God-awful caterwauling.

Embarrassing rock star moments aside, Stanley’s customized VIN 001 2022 Chevrolet Corvette convertible hits the block at Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas, June 30-July 2nd. Offered with no reserve, the Metallic Red Tint Coat roadster comes with a saddle interior and pewter five-spoke wheels. It is said to be a one-of-one ‘Vette, but looks like factory stock to us. Also offered with the car is an autographed Ibanez PS120 Paul Stanley Signature guitar.

Stanley wanted to make sure that one of his guitars was included in the sale. He says, “The guitar is another part of my life, another aspect of who I am,” said Stanley. “So, I thought that whoever acquired the car should have another piece of who I am. I want somebody to take this car and do whatever makes them happy with it, to enjoy it. That’s really the keyword for any collector of anything – joy. And for me, my life has always been about the joy I can bring to other people.”

Does a copy of his shrieking banter tape get thrown with the deal as well?  How about a pair of earplugs? Again, if you haven’t heard it, you must listen.  Holy moly. Good luck to the new owner!
